Fiber Optic Stress Sensor Research
Conducting research on a compact fiber optic stress sensor for high-precision, non-destructive analysis of biological materials.
I designed and developed standalone Python software to interface with optical measurement devices for real-time data collection, processing, and visualization. This work includes hardware-software integration, system validation, and development of mathematical models for signal and data processing.
I presented this research at Photonics West 2026 and received the Best Early Career Researcher Award. I also contributed to research grant proposals that secured more than $10,000 in funding.
